About English Practice
English Practice is an independent educational guide library about everyday conversations, practical messages, talking about plans, describing and explaining, reading and listening practice, self review. The library contains 50 original guides, arranged in six categories so that a reader can work on one useful task at a time.
How to use a lesson
Start with the question in the title, try the worked example and compare the result with the suggested checks. Examples use invented practice inputs unless a named published work or a general software feature is explicitly identified.
Try the task once before studying a model. In the revision, check the purpose, one necessary detail and the next action the listener or reader should take.
Editorial approach
These lessons were prepared with automated drafting assistance and organized for this publication. They are general learning material, not reports of independent product testing, professional certification or individual outcomes. Software interfaces and equipment requirements can change; check the documentation for your exact version or model before relying on a procedure.
Book references identify their authors where used. Short practice passages on this site are illustrative teaching material.
Corrections and limits
Several English varieties use different expressions and conventions. Treat alternatives as context dependent, not automatically incorrect.
If you notice an error, prepare a correction note on the reader feedback page. Include the guide address and the detail that needs checking.
Reader contact and corrections
The contact page provides this publication's support email for questions, accessibility issues and corrections. Include the guide URL, the relevant passage and a source or description that can be checked. A request about a specific software feature, device or quotation should identify its version, model or edition.

Context photographs are sourced from Unsplash and stored with this publication. They illustrate the subject of a lesson; they are not software screenshots, evidence of product testing or photographs of our editorial team.
